RE: Line cook or Prep cook

Dear chef Globes,

I would like to apply for the Line cook/ Prep cook position at CARA Operations Limited. I
have 6 months’ experience in the industry and I am dedicated to my craft. I have always
admired by mom’s cooking, and she is the sole reason why I decided to purse culinary arts
as a career.

Over the past by chopping skills has been improved, along with that I used to help the chef
with cleaning, washing vegetables and other duties as assigned. I am very well versed in
food prep and sanitation. My ability to follow directions and to learn quickly turned out to
be an asset for me, while working in this industry. I am also aware of the first-aid procedure,
and will be the best one to assist my fellow mates in case of any emergency.

I am currently a first-year student at Humber College, and as I am an International Student

from India I am aware of different languages like Hindi, Punjabi, English etc. which makes
me monolingual. I consider myself as well-qualified candidate for this position of Line cook
in your organization and I am confident you will find me to a good fit. Looking forward to
