SERVICE INFORMATION Firmware Update Bay unit

BAY UNIT 7SS52

WARNING The monitor routine offers several functions of which some are
for internal use only. Don’t try to execute functions which are not
described below. Undefined reaction of the device may occur.

In the case of downloading a new firmware into the bay units 7SS52 (not 7SS525) the following steps
have to be carried out:

1. Start the monitor routine

2. Download the firmware from a PC into the bay units by using the update utility.
( Ordering code for the required interface cable : 7XV5100-4 )

3. Execute an original start - if required


Attention: After an original start the device defaults to the factory settings !

After executing an original start the default setting of the operating language is English. A change is
possible under address 7101 (see manual).
