Dear SAT-Test-taker!

Please read this message very carefully for IMPORTANT INFORMATION on taking the SAT
examination on 24 January 2015

1. The SAT test will be held in MAIN Hall and SAT (subjects) in Block A, Conference room 1 on
Saturday, 24 January at 8am sharp. You must arrive by 07.45 am for registration. Please be
on time! Latecomers will not be admitted. The SAT test will last almost 4.5 hours, so plan to be at
school till about 1pm that day.

2. Make sure your admission ticket with your photo and an acceptable photo ID (NO PHOTOCOPY)
are available for checking by the test centre staff. If you have changed your registration from SAT to
SAT subjects or vice versa, make sure you bring the correct admission ticket. IF YOU ARE
MISSING EITHER ITEM, YOU WON’T BE ADMITTED.

3. We cannot admit:
 unregistered test-takers;
 test-takers registered at other centers or for other dates;
 Parents, guardians or any other unauthorized visitors

4. Bring four HB-2 pencils and an eraser with you. You are only allowed to use this kind of pencil
(NO PENS NOR MECHANICAL PENCILS!) to fill in the bubble answer-sheet for the test. You
are allowed to use a scientific or graphing calculator for math sections only, and YOU MUST
BRING YOUR OWN CALCULATOR that conforms to these specifications and has fresh
batteries. You will not be allowed to share calculators.

5. SAT Subject Tests – You are allowed to take up to a maximum of three subjects on the day.

6. Cell phone use is not allowed! Make sure your cell phone is switched off. The use of phones,
music players or any other unauthorized devices during testing or breaks is prohibited. You are not
allowed to eat, drink or smoke in the testing room; cause disturbance of any kind; ignore testing
procedures; or leave the building during the test. If you fail to follow the rules, we will:

 Dismiss you from testing


 Cancel your scores
 Possibly confiscate your phone or device

7. Try to have a good rest the night before. Bring a sweater along in case the room is too cold for
comfort. Have a good breakfast as food and water are not allowed in the exam hall. You can only
consume food or drink during the breaks. During the 5-minute break, you are not allowed to talk in
the hallway or discuss test questions with anyone.
