    Brief History of De La Salle Futsal Club

    The club was founded by Benicio M. Gueco III in school year (2014-2015) to give DLSU
    students an avenue to play futsal and promote health and wellness in the campus with the help Josh
    Alas, Royce De Los Reyes and Justin Almaroza thru the guidance of Sir Bong Panlilio. The club
    started with 300 members at its first year as a sports club. The first set of officer were Benicio Gueco
    as President, Serafin Gonzales as Vice President of Internals, Royce De Los Reyes as Vice President
    of Externals, Jon Wilson Tee as Treasurer, Kristjan Bayle as Vice President of Publicity, Alejandro
    Abarca as Vice President of Logistics and Justin Almazora as Vice President of Documentation. In
    the first year of the Futsal Club, had a tie up with Ateneo Futsal Club and had a friendly game. Also
    created a futsal tournament with the proceeds donated to charity.
