1. Internet
The Internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the
Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link devices worldwide. It is a network of networks that
consists of private, public, academic, business, and government networks of local to global
scope, linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless, and optical networking technologies. The
Internet carries an extensive range of information resources and services, such as the inter-
linked hypertext documents and applications of the World Wide Web (WWW), electronic mail,
telephony, and file sharing.
The Internet is a global wide area network that connects computer systems across the
world. It includes several high-bandwidth data lines that comprise the Internet "backbone."
These lines are connected to major Internet hubs that distribute data to other locations, such as
web servers and ISPs.

2. Communication
The act or an instance of communicating; the imparting or exchange of
information, ideas, or feelings or something communicated, such as a message, letter, or
telephone call

Communications are the systems and processes that are used to communicate or
broadcast information, especially by means of electricity or radio waves.

Examples: communications satellite, telephone, radio, television
