SAFETY RULES FOR PROJECTBASED/INTERNSHIP/INDUSTRIAL
VACATIONAL/SUMMER TRAINING STUDENTS

DO's

1. Attending safety class is a must for issue of gate pass to entrer the plant to meet your guides.
2. while entering into the plant itself every traineee should wear shoes ans helmet.
3. while crossing level crossing stop, look and proceed.
4. Meet the concerned shop In-Chage every day before entering into the shop floor / section
5. While moving in conveyor areas take help og in-charge /guide
6. Foloow road Safety and work instructions inside the plant.
7. In case of any emergency, contact your site in-charge / guide.
8. Be conscious while moving at the road junctions
9. Use handrailswhile moving climbing up/ Climbing down in staircases.
10. Avoid mischief inside the plant.
11. Always use the visitors gallery only.

DONT's

1. Do not travel in trucks / heavy vehicles/ locos etc.

2. Do not move at unauthorised locations.
3. No student is authorised to enter into the hazardous areas, cellars, electrical installations, gas
pipeline areas.
4. Do not operate anything on your own
5. Do not enter into electrical substations without information of in-charge.
6. Do not move underneath the cranes.
7. Do not stand in the middle of the road, to get the lift.
8. Do not be over enthusiastic.
9. Do not use cell phone while you are in the shop floor.
10. Student Trainees are instructed not to visit Blast Furnace - III and Steel Melt Shop - I & II
