 GAIN KNOWLEDGE DURING WORKING

Operation on various pipes handling equipment while making pipe connections, tripping, testing,
etc. During periods when the drill string is on bottom drilling, assists in preparing additional drill
pipe, collars, or special tools to be run into the hole. Also at this time, rig floor equipment is
examined and serviced. Tools, equipment and supplies are obtained and made ready for the next
phase of the operation. Prior to completing the well, the drilling crew is responsible for retrieving
the drill steam and BOP equipment such that the well can be plugged and abandoned or
completed. All equipment is to be returned to its proper storage location and made ready for us
again or replaced if damaged.

 Cleaning, scraping and painting the deck, equipment and work areas.
 Off-loading supplies from boats and moving them to storage areas.
 Mixing and conditioning drilling mud.
 Moving supplies and equipment to the work site.
 Stacking drill-pipes.
 General work in the pump room (such as helping to repair mud pumps).
 Making and breaking up drill string, connection of drill bit.
 Man shell shakers and assist mud chemist with mud weight. (using barite & caco3)
 Relieve Derrick man during meal breaks.
  Change shakers and desander, desilter screens and desilter cones
 Change Mud pump liners and seals in pump room.
 Maintaining all equipment on rig floor, greasing main Block and Manifold systems.
 Assist crane driver with slings signals direction.
