RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

This website would be a useful technology resource for my content area of Japanese. It provides authentic Japanese that helps
students to understand current events in japan as well as the culture. Each article on the website provides audio of the text as
well as a link to the article in the normal NHK website. Some articles will also have videos to help explain the topic farther.

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING


How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the screencasting – you or your
students, and what purpose it will serve.

The screen cast will be done by me to show the students how to navigate the website, but the website will be by the students.
The students will be able to use the website to cover reading as well as learning about culture (two standards for world language).
This website was made by Japan for Japanese people so the students will be able to practice with authentic Japanese as well as
seeing Japan from a Japanese news source.
