I am writing you today to express my immense interest in the Critical Care Internship at the
University of Utah Hospital. University of Utah Health as an organization is paving the path in
superior quality care and cutting-edge treatment. The Critical Care Internship is truly unique and
renown for producing inspirational nurses that touch the lives of every patient they care for.
Through its unparalleled mentorship, quality education and superb clinical experiences; the
dedication this program has in preparing committed as well as compassionate nurses is truly
admirable.

I strongly believe my leadership, teamwork and critical thinking skills make me an ideal
candidate for this program. I find sentiment in being there for those during what quite possibly is
the worst time of their life; I’m devoted to providing wholehearted care in times of havoc or
uncertainty. My experience as an Emergency Medical Technician has taught me how to perform
diligently under pressure while collaborating with team members in efforts to efficiently care for
our patient. My experience as an Aquatics Director has taught me how to skillfully manage as
well as lead a team toward an end objective. My time spent training as Professional Athlete has
instilled lifelong confidence, self-motivation and perseverance necessary to achieve a larger goal.

It would be an honor to be apart of this groundbreaking internship and a dream come true to
become a Critical Care Nurse at the University of Utah Hospital. Thank you for your time and
