Advanced Poetry Challenge: Crédito Extra

“All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence

Purpose: This assignment is designed for excelling students who need

to push their creative abilities through poetry. Students may choose
from the following two options:

Opción A: Create a poetic piece that includes a portrait or drawing to

bring your writing to life. The portrait included should connect with the
central theme and meaning behind your poem and enhance your work.

Opción B: Using your own knowledge of the Spanish language,

classroom dictionaries, and wordreference.com translate as much of
your poem as possible from English to Spanish. Notice the differences in
feeling, rhythm, and tone as the writing is translated.
