Greetings!

I, Karen Grace P. Julao, from 4B – Clinical Pharmacy, am interested to join the Mobility Program to the
University of Illinois at Chicago, U.S.A, from 3rd July to 27th July, 2018.

I am currently a regular 4th year student with no recorded deficiencies or failures with my courses throughout my
stay in Pharmacy. I have also already completed 960 hours of internship from community pharmacy to the major
internship at respectable pharmacy institutions in the Philippines.

Other than my clean track record, I am also an active member of the Commission on Elections – Pharmacy Unit as
a Deputy for this academic year, and the Clinical Pharmacy Society as the Junior Preceptor of Pediatric Care Clinic,
among others. I also actively participated in various outreach programs organized within the university.

My main reason for joining the Mobility Program is to gain knowledge about the Pharmacy practice beyond those
being taught here in the Philippines. I have always wanted to learn new ideas and information that can enhance my
skills and expertise in order to become a well rounded clinical pharmacist. I believe that this kind of opportunity
will definitely help me to use this experience to work with other health care providers in my future endeavors.
