The courses I have taken at my university have allowed me to learn substantial information concerning basic psychological
theories, gain research experience and learn SPSS software, explore new ways of personal thinking, develop an extreme
interest in my studies, and have encouraged me to feel the need to keep exploring these ideas through research and the pursuit
of graduate school.

Volunteer Research Experience 2018

I had the opportunity to help a professor with research experience by going through a survey that was conducted on the
overall college experience and what it meant to the participants. Four other classmates and myself took part in organizing
various responses according to details in common including if the surveyee was attending university because of family
pressure, wanting education, needing a bachelor’s for a job, and other responses such as being the first-born or for money
reasons.
