Title of Activity: Read aloud

Materials Needed: story book and a star shaped white paper

Title of the story: Stars by Ray and Frazee

Learning Outcomes: (Age appropriate language, what students will know and be able to
do at the end of lesson, what is the learning objective)

- The students will be able to discuss the story by saying what happened, what they liked or
disliked, and where they can find stars.
- Students will write why they are a star.

Procedure: (Include Motivation, Introduction, Development and Closure) (10 minutes)

1. Warm up activity (ice breaker/ accesing prior knowledge): to asses the students knowledge
on stars. Teacher will ask the students where do the find stars and why they can’t see them in
the morning.

2. Introduce the lesson and the objective


Reinforcement: the students who is best sitting down will get a token at the end of the
activity.

3. instructional methods and strategies incude: Teacher will read the story.

Assessment: (Evidence of learing outcomes achieved) (5 minutes)

I will ask students to write why they are a star on the paper they are given.
