Why is the traffic in delhi so bad?

Delhi, is the territory of the capital of India, is a big city located in the north of the
country.

Delhi’s traffic jams leave cars crawling at under 5 kilometers an hour -- making it
almost faster to walk than drive

Theher are to many reasons for traffic and too much pollution in the city: but
the 3 reasons most importanr are:

1) big population of India.

2) Inferiority feeling
3) Bad governments

India is one of the countries with too much population in the world , as delhi is the
capital of the country there are too much people in this place, t hey need to drive
different places in their streets.
In delhi there are too many social classes and they think that take public transport
is a symbol of inferiority.

For that the people in Dheli prefer to travel int the streets using taxis and
rickshwas (special car) located in all parts of the city because there are not enough
parking areas for these transports, and also the rates are too high.

Driving in dheli is a big challenge because the streets are in poor condition, there is
always traffic, there are too few parking garages and at night there are not enough
lights street.

For Solutions:
1) More usage for public transport. (Kill the inferior feeling.)

Educate people that using bicycle, create the bicycle lanes too, and say the people
that the public transport is not inferior and using cars is not superior.

2) Control the population growth

There should be less population in Delhi, why not? governments should do more
campaigns for birth control and elimination of pollution.

3) choose good governors who can to complete their work and design new traffic
reduction sytems with an ecological character.
