How to use G3PS Schedule Macro

How to download the macro


1. Go to SupplyPower login page: https://gmsupplypower.covisint.com/web/portal/home

2. Log in using your SupplyPower User ID and password


3. Locate “Collaborate” tab at the top of the page
4. Single click on “Collaborate” tab to show the drop-down menu
5. Locate “Document Library” Link

6. Single click on “Document Library” Link


7. Locate “Supply Chain” Folder

8. Single click on “Supply Chain” Folder


9. Locate “Pre-production operations” Folder

10. Single click on “Pre-production operations” Folder

11. Open and save the macro file

a. If you save the macro somewhere you remember you will only need to download this once
How to export the data
1. Log into G3PS through SupplyPower

2. Navigate to the “Supplier Summary” Screen

3. Click on “Total Open PO Line Items”

4. Click on “Export Lines”


5. Open and save the downloaded file somewhere you will remember
a. I recommend creating a file called “G3PS Data” and name following the file naming convention:
“g3ps_data_MM_DD_YY”
i. MM= month
ii. DD= day
iii. YY= year
b. If you have more than 1 duns number I would follow this format: “g3ps_data_XXXX_MM_DD_YY”
i. XXXX= last 4 of the DUNs number
How to use the macro

1. Open your macro file


2. Click on “Enable Editing”

a. If you don’t use macros often you may have to click on “enable macros” as well
3. Click on “Load G3PS Data”
4. Locate your exported data file, click on it and click open

Different Macro Tabs

1. “Weekly Break Out” Tab

This tab show all parts sorted by PO


2. “Weekly Breakout by Contact” tab

This tab will sort by contact if different people at your company are assigned to different parts

3. “Weekly Pivot”

This tab allows you to look at weeks individually
