Orientation on drug test for teachers

:Greetings:

Illegal drug abuse have been a boon for the society since the advent of modernism and industrialism.
During those times, these drugs affected those people who are well-off – for these people are the only
ones who can afford these luxuries. But as years passed, and as our technology developed as well, people
have found to mass produce these synthetic drugs and as such, these drugs have found a way into the
hands of people who are poor. The pushers got even more creative as they found out that it is easier to
sell drugs to juveniles – students who are still in high school or, shockingly-enough, elementary pupils.

For this reason, our president, His excellency Rodrigo Duterte have made it his government’s mission to
stop and prevent the prevalence of this drugs in our country. And as educators, as people mingle more
with these pupils more than their parents at this stage of their lives, it is our unspoken and unwritten
mission to educate and lead them away from these illegal drugs. And there is no better way to do it than
to be a good example to our pupils.

Today marks a milestone for our country in fighting these illegal drugs. Let’s not see it in the negative light
that they are suspecting us of using illegal drugs. Instead, let’s see it as our Department of Education and
our government cares for us and much more so to our younglings. After all, we teachers are the beginning
of the path of these children towards them creating their own bright future.

And without further ado, in behalf of the teaching staff of the Lapogan Elementary School, headed by our
principal, Mrs. Lynnette Agatep, it is my honor and utmost privilege to welcome you all into our humble
school. Welcome, welcome, welcome!
