Verb to ‘Do’

Do does did

come = do + come
comes = does + come
came = did + come

pray = do + pray
prays = does + pray
payed = did + pray

eat = do + eat
eats = does + eat
ate = did + eat

fill = do + fill
fills = does + fill
filled = did + fill

Use: 1 – To make questions:


Examples:
Do you pray every day?
Does he come to college today?
Did you pray today?
When do you come to college?
Where do you work?
When did he finish the work?
How did you meet him?
What do you eat for breakfast?

Use: 2 – To make negative sentences:


Examples:
I don’t know him
I don’t go there
He doesn’t work here
She doesn’t eat chicken
It doesn’t work
I didn’t do that
We didn’t come on Thursday
He didn’t finish the homework
