    (a) Gravity loads


    • Weight of members of tower
    • Weight of platform, railing, ladder, lift, etc.
    • Weight of antenna, instruments, appliances, etc.
    • Weight of gussets and bracings
    • Live loads
    (b) Lateral loads
    • Wind load [most important load for tower design
    • Seismic load [not very critical for lattice towers
    (c) Erection loads
    • Loads during handling, transportation and erection of towers
