At the very beginning of 21st century, humanity is facing the best living standards in
all history. We are witnessing improvements in all spheres of human life. First of
all, technological advancements in medical field allowed for a higher level of health
care which in turn has resulted in very big population boom, extinction of many fatal
diseases, and more accessible treatment of patients. Furthermore, advancements in
the field of telecommunications and information sharing has made communication
all around the world available for almost everyone and everywhere in the world.
(easier communication enables a higher level of human interaction without having
to be in each other’s nearest vicinity) But on the other hand, approachability to any
type of information leads to increased risk of information mistreatment. In further
details, we will look more closely to the pros of the advancement of information age.
Finally, in retrospect to all that has been argumented, we can see that the
advancement of modern information technologies has much greater impact on
humans and society with more benefits than drawbacks. Clearly, it is much safer to
store and transfer data via modern information technology than by paper or personal
way. We are exposed to some dangers of malicious attacks and theft of information,
but in the regard it is insignificant. Technologies are advancing with the needs of the
human race and so we cannot draw back from the advancement.
