Acknowledgement

This research paper entitled “Zingiber Officinale (Ginger): The Evaluation of

Effects on Salivation in Rats” in itself is an acknowledgement to the inspiration, drive

and technical assistance contributed to it by many individuals. All the revision, projects

and report work would have never been completed without the guidance and assistance

that we receive during the whole research process.

We express our sincerest gratitude to our research professor Dr. Reece Valdez,

for introducing us to the world of research and giving us knowledge about it as well as

on how to do it. To our research adviser, Dr. Joanne Plandez, who gave us inputs and

suggestion on how we can make this paper possible.

To Dean Annalie De lemos and Dr. Jomer Pasol who encourage us to pursue

our research when we are all in doubt of continuing it. Thank you!

Special thanks to the veterinarians of Sta. Ana Animal Clinic namely Dr. Aris B.

Hapatinga and Dr. Rolando Jamir Jr. together with their assistants who helped us in

housing the animals, handling the animals and conducting some of the procedures that

we are restricted of.

Also, thanks to Roberth Riggs Rondilla, a chemist under the research

department of University of Sto. Thomas who prepared the extracts and the dosing

needed in the experiment.

Above all, we are grateful to God who showed us rays of light to do this research

paper and we are also thankful to our family and friends for their constant support and

inspiration to finish this research.
