MARTIN VIZCARRA

Martin Alberto Vizcarra Cornejo is a Peruvian Civil Engineer and Politician. He is


54 years old. He is current President of the Republic of Peru. He took power on
March 23. His term of office ends on June, 2021. Previously, he became as
Governor of the Department of Moquegua from January 1th, 2011 to December
31th, 2014. Also, he was Minister of Transportation and Communications of Peru
from 2016 to 2017 and he took office the position of Ambassador of Peru to
Canada from 2017 to 2018.

He was born in Lima on March 22nd, 1963, but he lived in Moquegua. His parents
were: Cesar Vizcarra and Doris Cornejo. Their were of Moquegua. His father was
mayor of Moquegua. Vizcarra stadied at school Juan XXIII in Moquegua. His
university education, he did at the National University of Engineering in Lima in
1984. He got a degree in Gerencial Administration.
In the nineties, he married whit the educator Marybel Díaz Cabello, an old friend
who was reunited when he returned from the capital. With her, she had four
children: Diana, who became her grandfather six months ago, Daniela, Diamela
and Martino.
