Prayer guideline for 21 days fast.

For fasting to be effective, you must be intentional about it.

No one entered into a fast in the Scriptures without having clear-cut objectives. It is a time set apart
to fellowship with God, receive grace and power for the fulfilment of His will in your life. A time where
people experience a breakthrough on matters they have been reaching out to God on. God has the
opportunity to position you into the things He has planned, which you prior had no knowledge of. It is
a time of restoration of the things you may have lost; new opportunities are opened up.

Understand it is not the starvation that God rewards, but that the staying off food enables you to be
more sensitive to the things of the spirit, and your spiritual activities become more productive.

These are the things to focus on during this fast, which will help to open up your life for heavenly
visitations.

Spend considerable time in thanksgiving and worship.

Get quiet before Him and minister unto Him with your sole purpose being to please His heart. He
has a lot in His hands to give to you, which you are not even aware of. More time should be devoted
to consciously ministering to the Lord. There He will speak to you about things that are to come and
guide you into all truth.

Acts 13:2
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for
the work whereunto I have called them.
Spend time also feeding i.e. meditating on the word of God.
Mutter it to yourself, repeating the promises of God to you throughout the day. The time you usually
spend on meals preparing and eating spend it now on meditating on God’s word. The way into our
natural belly (stomach) is through the mouth, it’s the same way into our spiritual belly (human
hearts). You must get the promises of God and His word to you in an abundant measure.

Job 23:12
Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his
mouth more than my necessary food.
During a fast, we receive a lot from angelic ministrations and this assistance is principally in the form of
information they are bringing to you. They give supernatural insight into the things.
Daniel 9:21-23
Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the
beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he
informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and
understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come
to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
Angels are attracted to an atmosphere where God is reverenced and ministered to in worship, and
where the individual or group practices hospitality and helps those in need. Kindly be conscious of this.
Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Acts 10:3-4

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and
saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, what is it, Lord?
And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
Pray for those who have offended you in the past.
Pray the same blessings you have believed God for into their lives. Make sure your heart is clean
towards all. The vehicle bringing your full restoration travels through the path of reconciliation. Pray
for others who you know have some need in their lives or are facing some adversity.

Spend a lot of time prophesying into your life the things He shows you in the scriptures. The prophetic
utterances release the river of living waters into the streets of your life. It is there the power of God is
actually released into your situation and the Spirit of God enters into your affairs.
The prayer pattern we will follow is based on the six areas the Lord taught us to touch on when praying.
1. The kingdom of God is established in our lives.
2. His will be done in us as He has planned it in heaven.
3. Provision for our needs at the moment.
4. Forgiveness so we are not victims of our mistakes suffering under the consequence of anyone we may
have offended.
5. Guidance that we fall not into any temptation.
6. Deliverance from all forms of evil.
Praying God’s kingdom and His will be done.
Sanctifying His name.
We come before you and sanctify your name as our Father; you are our only and total source. We
praise you for your loving kindness and disposition towards us as your children. It is your good
pleasure to pour Your Spirit upon us and establish your kingdom in our lives. We thank You that as
we pray asking according to Your will You hear and answer us in Your might and power in Jesus
name. (Luke 11:2)
The prayer for the establishment of His kingdom in us.
1 Samuel 2:35
And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart
and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
Father, I ask that you separate me into the very work you have called me to do on the earth. I ask
that you open the eyes of my understanding that I may see the hope of your high calling upon my
life, that I may also come into the realization of your purpose both for me and my family (children)
and also the work of my hands. Show me great and mighty things that I know not. Open my eyes
that I may see the things which you have prepared for me.
Show me what you have on your mind for my life that as I read the scriptures, I will be illuminated
and see what your own needs are as regards that which you desire to accomplish through me that I
may be of great service to you this year. Fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding that I may walk worthy of you unto all pleasing. I submit myself to be used in
your service. Grant unto me utterance to boldly speak out these things you show me that a door be
opened up that I may enter into the practical aspects of your kingdom agenda on the earth and that I
may be an integral part of your army executing your assignments hidden on the earth. (Ephesians
1:18) (Jeremiah 33:3) (1 Corinthians 2:9) (Colossians 1:9)

(As God shows you the things He intends to do through you, in your family and by the work of your
hands write them down and make them the goals for your life this year and continuously prophesy the
scriptures into your life. *Kindly note these things will be principally revealed to you by illuminating the
scriptures as you read and meditate upon them)
Kingdom prayer for Covenant Christian Centre
Father I ask for these same things upon C3 as your body that we enter into your kingdom agenda,
that we as a corporate unit fulfill your purpose and enter as a united army into what you are doing on
the earth. We ask that your love abounds in us towards one another in all things. We ask that you
also grant unto us all utterance that as we speak your word boldly you will stretch forth your hands
that eternal and powerful things will be wrought through us this year. I ask for utterance in the word
that the ministry of your word may be in the demonstration of your Spirit and power. *(1
Thessalonians 3:12)
Give us this day our daily bread (prayer for personal needs)
Matthew 6:8
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need
of, before ye ask him.
List out the things you want God to do in your life this year and pray this prayer over the list.
Father I thank you that you know all of these needs before I ask. I bless you because you have
granted all of my needs (list them and start thanking and praising God that they are all met) Spend
time throughout the fast thanking and worshipping God for meeting your needs and you start calling
them met.

Give us this day our daily bread (material needs of the Church)
Father, we thank you for you have added to the Church daily such as will be saved. You have
caused us to grow and multiply in 2018. Men and women have come from all parts of the city and
become inhabitants of C3. You have supernaturally ministered to us material things proving that the
silver and gold upon the earth belong to you. We have received more than we need such that all our
infrastructural needs are met and we abound as a Church in massive charitable donations this year,
meeting the needs of others as the rivers of living water flows from us into the streets of Lagos and
this nation.
Forgiveness of sins
Matthew 18:27
Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
Father, we pray that through the blood Jesus, we receive complete forgiveness for all our mistakes.
We ask that our conscience be completely purged by the blood. We ask that you deliver us from
every negative expectation and pronouncements of men who maybe offended by the things we have
done and will do. We extend this same mercy unto everyone that has offended us, and we pray that
they enter into your will for their lives, they be blessed and all their material needs be met by you.

Guidance
Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
I ask that you order my steps aright that I do not get distracted, that my foot does not slip nor get
enticed into a path and make decisions that are not consistent with your will for me. I ask that you
strengthen my inner man with the might of your Spirit that I do not fall into any temptation. Open my
eyes that I may see beyond that which appeals to my flesh but see the true intent and the end of
every decision I make.
Deliverance from evil
Luke 1:71
That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
Send forth your angels Father to keep me in all of my way. Let them bare me up in their arms. Build
your hedge around every member of my family and me also. Deliver me from the hands of evil men
that the rod of wickedness rests not upon my lot. A thousand may fall on my right hand, ten
thousand on my left, but preserve me and cause no evil to come near my dwelling place neither
close to any member of my family for I have made you my security and trust in your mercy for my
protection.
Praise and adoration
Father I thank and praise you for all you have done in 2018. The salvation, glory and power all
belong to you. I worship you for you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent but granted
them all unto me. I covenant to continually give all the glory and praise unto you for the kingdom
belongs to you and not me in Jesus name. AMEN.
