Last September 30, 2017, one of the highlights of the Cainta Catholic
College’s annual sports fest was the selection of this year’s Mr. & Miss College
Intramurals held at the school’s gymnasium.

The said event was leaded by Mr. Pocholo Montances and Ms. Arlha Lorienel Banzil as
the masters of the ceremony. To keep the attention of the viewers alive, song numbers
were performed by the College Musical band, Mr. Marlo Gocalin and Ms. Jhazmine
Tapalla followed by the annual cheer dance competition and presentation of the judges;
Mr. Glen Villanueva, Ms. Dy-am Solis, Mr. Eric Marasigan and Mr. Rizaldy Delos Reyes.

With their stunning guises and heart-thumping stances, the newly crowned Mr.
Intramurals JanMiles Atilano of the College of Business Administration and Ms.
Intramurals Princess Jasmin Baldosano of the College of Education from the Violet
Vikings ruled the stage with their fierceness, confidence and consistency in portraying
their sport, the archery. During the question and answer portion they really proved that
they deserved to be crowned as the Mr. and Ms. College Intramurals with their definite
and adequate answers, is what really made them stand out among the twelve
participants.

On the other hand, ranked as the 2nd place, Mr. James Gamban from the Red Stallions
and Ms.Camyl Erica Palancos from the Pink Panther, ranked as the 3rd place, Mr. Jhon
Bryan Dela cruz and Ms. Karissa Royeras Mutoc both from the yellow minions.

Beauty isn’t about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart and
most importantly, a beautiful soul. The true essence of beauty is not seen in physical
appearance but rather from the simple joy of making a difference for those who need your
passion, dedication and time without expecting anything in return. This year’s Mr. and Ms.
Intramurals candidates showcased the beauty, intelligence and talent they possessed
that made this year’s college intramurals a remarkable one.
