Batch History

K-12 program is indeed a challenge to take for all the senior high school.
However, this is a great opportunity for us to be able to be prepared to the challenges of
life that we’re going to face thereafter.

Most of us would agree that the another 2-years spent in High school were
certainly one of the most unforgettable and challenging days of our lives. Met new
classmates and later befriends. Also in this chapter of our lives, we have learned lot of
lessons not only in the academic field but most importantly the lessons about life
because along the way, there are many obstacles and hindrances that we may
encounter which we have to fight and to be brave strong independent person.

SHS. Grade XI.

Just like our 7th grade in high school, we still wandered during the opening of the
class. We were thinking who will be our teachers, advisers, and classmates may be.
During orientation, we met the advisers of us, Mrs. Ma. Lourdes U. Lorca for
General Academic Strand (GAS), Ms. Cherry V. Ladines for TVL-Cookery, Bread and
Pastry and Mr. Raffy Flores in TVL-Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). They were
the one who supportively helped, encouraged and guided us to passed and overcome
the different challenges that we’d faced throughout this journey.

Nutrition Month when Twirlie Jane Baraquiel and Michael Principe, Rojean Talisic
and Menuel Mariñas and Cindy Santoalla and Carl Vincent Navarro represents the three
sections of Senior High School. Different activities were held and the Athena (GAS) took
the 1st place in the Jingle Contest while Demeter (TVL-CBP) won the 3 rd place. In slogan
making contest individual entry, Princess Siason got the 2 nd place while in group
contest, Princess Siason and Airaleen Iglesia won the 3 rd place. Meanwhile, Lorie Jane
Legaspi, Rose Ann Pajares and Angelica Urgelles got the first place and Princess
Siason, Airaleen Iglesia and Rozzeth Maningas got the 3 rd place in Nutri-Quiz. In
Cooking contest, the selected students of Demeter (TVL-CBP) namely Rosemarie
Clemente, Aprilette Rabeza, Janella Galang, Ericka Jane Gagan and Joyce Ann Toque
took the first place while selected student of Athena (GAS) namely Jelmar Derecho,
Jobelle Gocon, Rhodelyn Tampol, Rozzeth Maningas and Zarie Oblena was the 2 nd
placer. For the food bazaar category, the selected students of General Academic Strand
grasp the 2nd place. Among of them were Airaleen Iglesia, Princess Siason and Rozzeth
Maningas. Later on proclaimed as the Overall Champion of the said event.
 The Selected students of General Academic Strand won 2 nd place in Choral
speech in “Buwan ng Wika 2017” and Princess Siason joined a slogan making contest
and won 1st place.
Intramural 2017, the Volleyball boys team of SHS namely Vince Darwin
Solomon, Patrick Bala, Dhon Rhynelle Allado (GAS) John Edward Encanto, Aldwin
Cambal, Mark Gabriel Alpay, (TVL-SMAW) Menuel Mariñas and Michael Maningas
(TVL-CBP) competed and earned 1 st place so as the volleyball girls team namely Chari
Mae Ureta, Mariella Cambal, Aimee Santoalla, Michelle Torneado (TVL-SMAW) and
Rosemarie Clemente (TVL-CBP) also got the 1 st place. Zarie Oblena won in Chess
Competition in Town meet held at Sampaloc Amphitheater. Meanwhile, Rosemarie
Clemente, Chari Mae Ureta, Mariella Cambal, Aimee Santoalla and Michelle Torneado
earned the 1st place in Basketball Girls Category.
Days passed, the selected students of the three sections got the 2 nd place in
Reader’s theater as we celebrated the National Reading Month. In climb the poet tree-
poem writing, Princess Siason got the 1 st and Bernalyn Recilla earned the 2nd one.
Another Certificate of Recognition was awarded to Princess Siason as she won the 1 st
place in Spelling bee and 3 rd place in poetry out load. Rozzeth Maningas then was the
2nd place in short story writing contest.
As time passed by, friendships were built.

Grade XII.
Last year in Senior. The most challenging year so far, I guess. Nothing really changed,
just new classmates came in.

Just like before, we joined the celebration of Nutrition Month, but this time, the lovely
faces of Jessieren Sayno, 1st runner up and Parick Bala represent the General
Academic Strand and Rose Ann Pajares whose got the title Miss Nutrition 2 nd runner up,
and Michael Maningas in T.V.L.

Zarie Oblena, Rozzeth Maningas and Princess Siason won the 1 st place in Quiz bee
competition. In Slogan Making Contest, still, Princess Siason got the 1 st place.

The Cookery Bread and pastry students were selected to represent the Sampaloc
National High School in Cooking contest held at Sampaloc Amphitheater Sampaloc,
Quezon organized by the LGU Sampaloc and won the 1 st place. Among of them were
Rosemarie Clemente, Rose Ann Pajares and Aprilette Rabeza.
The Celebration of Buwan ng Wika 2017 came again. As the crowd mesmerized by the
faces of Anna Marie Paleracio and Dhon Rhynelle Allado represented GAS and both
took the title Bb. At G. Buwan ng Wika 1 st runner up while Ericka Jane Gagan and
Leomar De Asis was the T.V.L. representatives. Princess Siason took 2 nd place Poster
Making and 1st place in Slogan Making Contest. On the hand, Jobelle Gocon grasp the
2nd place while Bernalyn Recilla took 3rd place in Slogan Making Contest.

Rojean Talisic, representative of XII-Fortitude (T.V.L.) was crowed as Miss Eco

Princess while her partner John Edward Encanto took 1 st runner up. Meanwhile, Leah
Alonte representative of XII-Wisdom (GAS) was proclaimed as the 1 st runner up and her
partner Michael Principe got the 2 nd runner up. In making a Slogan Contest, Princess
Siason earned the 1st place. The group of Zarie Oblena won the 1 st place and the group
of Anna Marie Paleracio got the 2nd place in the Quiz bee during the celebration of
Science Month.

During the celebration of the World’s Teachers Day Princess Siason had an entry in
Slogan making contest and took the 1st place and 2nd in Poster making contest.

January 2018, We were busy of the Work Immersion or the On-the-job training (OJT).
The cookery bread and pastry went to their industry Partner, Kamayan sa Palaisdaan
and Coffee Klatch, the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) went to Yoyoy’s welding
shop while the General Academic Strand (GAS) is in LGU Sampaloc as the industry
partner.

The most exhilarating time for hour batch was when the news about a Night to Emerged
culminating activity came. It is the talent showcase and serves as a reminder that we
are now ready to face whatever may come to us. Before the event ends, the gorgeous
and handsome faces Rojean Talisic and Rico Paz made them as the Lady and
Gentleman of the Night.

“Everything has its end”, they say. But tis commencement exercises isn’t the end yet. It
is just the beginning, a stepping stone for us to move to the path were going to take
afterwards.
