This year's return in search for the
title Mr. & Ms. San Roque District Atheletic
Association 2023 hankered with the crowd's
innumerable cheers even with only two
competing respective school delegates, on
January 4, 2023 at the glitzy stage of Don F.
Abalon National High School in San Roque
N. Samar.
Mecca Delizon from BNHS coveted
the crown as Ms. SRDAA 2023, breaking the
longest streak of schools winners race from
its prevoius victory in 2019. While Kyle
Arthur P. Sabilao hailed as Mr. SRDAA from
DJFANHS as they both dominate
continuously secure the accolades.
All eyes are in focus as the
candidates ramped in their trendiest sports
wear, regal evening gowns and formal
attires. With Delizon's glamour and
sofistication in the competition she
garnered the Ms. Wisdom, Best in Talent,
Best in School Uniform, and Best in Formal
Attire. While the dominance of Sabilao
stood out and awarded him the Mr.
Wisdom, Best in Production, Best in Sports
Wear, and Best in Formal Attire.
In the question and answer portion
the four delegates were given a common
question were they are expected to share
their insights, read by The Chair of the
Board Judges Madame Esther O. Dela Cruz.
"What are the traits that you should
posses to win as Ms. or Mr. SRDAA 2023?"
"The traits we should possess to win
respected and a responsible person because
wherever we are we should bring this traits
to everyone, because i beleive is being a
responsible are a respected person is way to
become a true role model of Ms. SRDAA and
also its a way to be come a good person"
Mecca finally cemented that throne with
this her answer to the question
Kyle Arthur responded with a
winning answer "The traits that we should
possess are first dicipline, second respect
and the last sportmanship this are the most
most important thing that we must develop
in order to win in this competition not only
competition, but to our family and friends
too" The male candidate statement were
well - recieved by the audience, who
brought their school representative the
crown and pageantry.
They will soon represent in the
2023 Mister and Miss SISAROPA Meet
(Silvino Lobos, San Roque, Pambujan).
Jesselee Anne G. Fialde of DJFANHS
got the Ms. Congeniality, Best in Sports
Attire, Best in Production and the 1st
Runner-up place. While Francis Aljur of
BNHS got the Mr. Congeniality, Best in
School Uniform, Best in Talent and the 1st
Runner-Up place in male category.
The candidates were adjudged by
the members of the Board of Judges:
Malobago Elementary School Principal
Nemia S. Lagrimas, ES Principal III at
Bantayan Elementary School Elvira
Ortenero, and ED.D. Public School District
Supervisor (PSDS) Esther O. Dela Cruz, as
the chair of the board. #
