MOM… DAD…. NINA… NAZ….SARA…TEACHER…..

There is one daughter whom name is Nina is a quiet person. Some problems are happen to her until
her parents feel disappointed with her.

Mom: Don’t ever be friends with them. Or you will regret it one day.

Dad: Yeah, I agree with you. You will involve with many problems if you still be friends with them.
Don’t you remember two weeks ago….

Naz: You will be punished my dear Nina. Hahaha (laugh loudly).

Out of blue, teacher entered the classroom and heard a weird sound from his student.

Sara: Hei, where is my wallet?

Teacher: What is going on here?

Sara: My wallet sir. It gone.I thought that I put it there just a minute ago. Have you seen my wallet,
Naz?

Naz: How could you suspected your own best friend. Hmm maybe there someone you should
suspected besides me.

Sara: Who? (Turn back) You, Nina? You stole my wallet?

Nina: Me? I didn’t stole your wallet. Why would I do such things?

Sara: Are you sure? (look at Nina’s backpack).

Suddenly, she recognise something that belongs to her. It was a Sara’s wallet.

Sara: Are you trying to lie me or it is your another tricks?

Nina: How can be in my backpack? I don’t know anything. I swear.

Sara: I shouldn’t trusted to you. Sir, Nina stole my wallet and lied.

Teacher: Enough of you two. Nina! You will be punished for two weeks for your wrongdoing. We
don’t teach students to be a bad person in school.

End of throwback…

Dad: Understand dear?

Nina: I understand mom and dad.

Dad: Don’t make another problems after this. We have been humiliated enough.

Nina: Alright father. I will listen to your words. I promise. (with sad voice).

Then, she head to the school for the first time after her punished for two weeks ago. Suddenly, Naz
appeared in front her.

Naz: Hey miss phantom thief…Do you enjoyed your wonderful holiday?

Nina: Why did you do this to me?

Naz: You are annoying! I have been hated to see you in school. One day, I will throw you out from
this school. If you don’t want to leave, I will do something that will make us chase out from this
school.

The bell ring loudly showing that the lessons time have started.

Naz: Ok. See you later, loser.

At the end of the class,

Teacher: Ok class. Make sure you submit your homework tomorrow morning at the teacher’s room.
Don’t forget to answer all of the question.

Little that they know, the teacher almost forgot that he wanted to tell something important to Naz and
Nina…Hmm, what is he trying to tell them?

Teacher: Naz and Nina. I want to tell you guys something.

Nina: What is it sir?

Teaher: Both of you guys were chosen to participate in a spelling bee competition for next week.

Naz: Really sir? That’s so amazing! I will be famous if I win it.

Nina: But sir, I’m not good in English at all especially in spelling.

Teacher: Nina, although the competition is only at school level. I’m choosing both of you because I
could see the potential in you guys and I want two of you to learn more English.

Naz: Alright sir. I will make sure that I will win in this competition instead of losing to you, Nina.

Teacher: Dismiss, student. It’s just a competition, no argument needed for that.
Nina: Thank you sir.

Both of them walk out from class. However, there’s something that makes teacher feel sympathy
towards Nina. He hope that Nina win that competition. At home, Nina told her parents that she has be
choosen to take part in spelling bee competition.

Nina: Mom ! Dad! I will participated in spelling bee.

Unfortunely, her parents were not interested about the news because they know their daughter’s level
in English compared to Naz. But, anything for their beloved daughter, they will always support her.

Mom: Congratulations dear. I always pray the best for my beloved daughter!

Dad: I’m proud of you, Nina?

Nina: Thanks mom.

In tomorrow morning in the class,

Naz: I’m sure that I can win the competition.

Sara: Yeah. You always get A’s in every exam plus you can speak fluently with foreigner people in
English. That’s cool!

Naz: Yeah. I know. And I will beat you, Nina.

Nina: I don’t care if I lose it.

Nina feel so upset and puzzled to think why Naz hate her so much. Her effort to be friends with Naz
failed. Even she knows that her English is not good at all, but she still want to improve her English
especially in spelling. Maybe by using this way, she can try be friend with Naz when she be an
excellent student. After she get that idea, she rushed to the library to find some English books and add
more her vocabulary. She grab her notebook and write down some difficult words while practising in
spelling. Meanwhile, Naz is busy going out together with Sara at café while playing the games in their
smartphone without any preparation for the competition tomorrow. At night, Nina study hard and try
to memories the spelling of each words. For her, she try to burn the midnight oil to show Naz that she
can be like her and want to be friend with her no matter happens to herself. But, in the same time Naz
confused what she want to do now. She has many books and don’t know where to start it. Out the
blue, Sara called and asked Naz about preparation for the tomorrow competition.

Sara: Naz, Are you ready for competition tomorrow? I sure you be more than ready isn’t ?
Naz: Ohh, haha. Of course I..I.. I’m doing some revision right now. Don’t worry, everything can be
handle. This is Naz okay.

Sara: Alright then. See you in the competition. Bye.

Naz off the phone quickly. In her mind, she thinks longer ….

Naz: Can I win with that loser? Of course you can Naz. You get A’s in English. Why is supposes to be
afraid with her? Yes, I can win. You can believe in yourself Naz (speak alone).

Today, is the day that both of them , Naz and Nina will be compete each other. The question is who
will win of this competition, Naz or Nina?

Teacher: Alright you two. Are you guys ready?

Naz and Nina: Ready sir.

Teacher: Someone who can spell the word “ADVERTISMENT”?

Naz: Me. Me sir. “ADVERTISMEN”

Teacher: Sorry Naz. Your answer is wrong. Nina?

Nina: Emm. “ADVERTISMENT”

Teacher: Correct! 10 points to you Nina.

After half round , Nina earned 400 points meanwhile Naz gained 250 points. Naz is far behind Nina.
Both of them were give an hour to rest and they will be started for the final round. But something in
Naz’s heart that she want revenge to Nina. Naz gets an idea to revenge her. It says that

“I know I not an excellent student here. I know I can’t make proud my parents proud with my own
results in every examination. But I really hope that I make friend with Naz. She is intelligent, smart
and hardworking. Even Allah did not give me as what Naz have but I so grateful to Him because he
let met me with Naz in my life. I always want to be close with her but it’s Allah fate, what can I do.
He only can change people’s heart only one is umat’s prayer. In my prayer, I pray one thing is I what
to be Naz‘s friend but until now he didn’t fullfill my wish. If one day I passed away, I forgive all her
mistakes that she has done to me because she is only my friend in school that I have got even she
spoke hard with me but I’m really happy to see her again. I know Allah is loving one. He never let his
umat to be alone. That because I never want to give this life even people like Naz hates me so much.
Allah, please soften her heart and accept me to be her friend. No matter happen to you I always
besides you, Naz, forever in my heart. Thank you Allah for giving me much a wonderful person in my
life. Thank you Naz for being present in my life. Your best friend, Nina.
After Naz heard, she become down and feel sorry to her. And she says,

Naz: Nina! Nina! Wake up my friend. Nina! (She cries).

Suddenly, Nina wake up when she heard Naz’s voice is calling her name. Naz immediately hugs and
feels sorry after she done to her life. Nina accepted her apologise but there is one question did she
what to tell her? What is it?

Nina: Naz, are you accepted me to be your friend?

Naz: Friend? Not friend. Best friend for sure (she smiles).

Nina is very happy to hear the Naz’s answer. Finally, she know that she never gives up with her life
and her prayer was fullfill by Allah. Last but not least, allow me to share one quote: God’s plan is
