Unit Goals:
Students will recognize and learn new words relevant to the region of Quebec.

Students will learn about daily life in Quebec and it's major cities

Unit Summary:
In this unit students will take a close look at many aspects of Quebecois culture. We will analyze commonly used words native to the region. We will
continue exploring new vocabulary that will help us describe the events of daily life. For example, this unit will introduce students to the climate,
winter clothing, cultural festivals, important neighborhoods and landmarks in Montreal. Students will examine life in Quebec and draw similarities
and differences to their own daily lives. The goal will be to choose one feature of Quebec that the student finds interesting and present it to their
classmates. In this unit we will be discussing sports, gastronomy, daily life, dance, music, Carnaval and Quebecois history.
