Students who have completed Improvisation I will continue to work in
performance technique, oral, and communication skills. This class will examine acting techniques of pantomime, vocal production, movement, and character development.
OBJECTIVES:
Demonstrate awareness of collaborative skills required to
participate in theatre production. Demonstrate elements of reading, writing, and analyzing a script. Demonstrate skills in performing and presenting oral critiques in a positive, progressive manner. Demonstrate leadership skills by accessing their own and other’s artistic work through critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making. Demonstrate the ability to interpret information from different perspectives.
A 100 point system is used in grading projects,
written, and oral work. Oral presentations are graded on a group and an individual basis. Performances will be graded in written and oral forms and openly discussed in class for learning purposes.
COURSE NEEDS: Notebook with 2 dividers and pen or pencil.
