 Microsoft corporation-American multinational technology company that
develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software &
hardware and personal computer and best know for windows operating system.
 HoloLens-HoloLens came by combining the two words “Hologram” and “lens”.
 Lens- A lens is a transmissive optical device that affects the focus of a light
beam through refraction.
 Then what about “hologram”?
 A Hologram is an object like any other object in real world ,with only one
difference :instead of being made of physical matter,a hologram is made entirely of
light.
 Holographic objects can be viewed from different angles and distances just like
other objects ,but they do not offer any physical resistance when touched or pushed
because they do not have any mass.
 Holograms can be two-dimensional like a piece of paper or a TV screen, or they
can be three-dimensional just like other physical objects in the real world.

It is a virtual aid tool for astronauts with two modes of operation. Remote
Expert Mode-uses the functionality of the Holographic Skype application—
voice and video chat; real-time virtual annotation— to allow a ground
operator and space crew member to collaborate directly over what the astronaut
sees, with the ground operator able to see the crew member's view in 3D,
provide interactive guidance, and draw annotations into the crew member's
environment.
GAMING
 Visual diagrams would actually show up in space around the user indicating exactly

 This application could even extend to the battlefield, where detailed medical
instructions could be given to untrained personnel in the midst of combat.
