Prerequisite All general SOP to be taken care as per document named standards SOP_common_1.1
Time Duration The activity to be conducted for around 90 minutes as per the school timings.
Duration Split To be conducted in a single slot.
Objective - To make the students aware about color “Yellow”.
- To work on recognition capability of students.
- To let the students understand the difference between Yellow and other
colors.
General Instructions 1. To celebrate yellow color day the entire school must be in yellow.
2. While teaching the concept we must take care that the stress should be on
color recognition, sometime the focus shifts on celebration rather than
teaching.
Campus decoration The campus to be decorated with yellow balloons, minions, tweety, honey
bees and sunflowers. Classroom Boards to be decorated by putting pictures
of objects of yellow color.
Work sheets Worksheet to be prepared with one picture of minion in front and picture of banana
at the back and should be given for coloring
Food for the day Fruit tiffin to contain some yellow fruit (Bananas,lemons,mangoes,pineapple)
Order of activity 1. Students to be told that yellow color is for happiness with the help of
smiley.
2. Teacher should display the yellow objects brought by students in class.
3. Introducing each object to students
4. Teachers to show the classroom board objects to students.
5. Worksheet to be distributed for Home Work
6. Rhyme on Yellow Color to be taught to the students.
7. Sunflower band to be distributed to students.
Standing/Seating 1. No specific requirements of seating arrangements
Placing of faculties and staff 1. No specific requirements.

Rhyme on Yellow Color 1. Teachers to prepare a short rhyme on yellow color.
Take Home Teachers to prepare hand bands with sunflower on it, to be given to students
to carry home.
Closing the activity The activity to be closed with a group picture with all students and teachers.
List of items required 1. To be decided and discussed with teachers

Guidelines for 1. The coordinator to make sure that all the required things to be
coordinator arranged in advance.
2. To send notification through app about basic instruction related to
food and clothes of students.
3. To see that the activity is conducted on time as conducting activities in
detail may take longer than decided.
4. To make sure that all pre-requirements are prepared by Saturday.
