MATERIALS

The material that is most likely to be used for the fabrication of game tables is Wood. It is used to make many things. Before the advent of plastics and
inexpensive metal working a lot more things were made from wood.

Wood is fairly hard and exhibits excellent tensile strength. That means it can be used to span a distance horizontally without sagging or breaking. The wood
fibres run vertically through it and intertwine to make it very strong. It is easy to work with, can be sawn easily and shaped with different tools. It's also a
renewable resource and looks beautiful.

Because of the following reason it became one of the most popular material, especially for furniture, since those must be reliable, tough and fairly
Malleable.
