Year Closing Party 2018

MBI year ending party was held to celebrate the successful closing of the year 2017-2018. The
secondary agenda that lay behind this event was to bring together employees of different verticals
enabling them to socialize and build relationships besides their work. The event took place on 24th
May’18 at Country Inn & Suites, Gurgaon. The employees summoned at 5:30 PM after the regular
office hours. The gala was a blend of performing arts, delicious food and an enormous amount of
fun. It comprised of several performances by the MBI employees which included singing, skits and
dancing.

The anchors of the evening were Gaurav Arora & Vivek Tiwari from the finance consolidation team.
They organizsed several fun games for the everyone. Commented [MTK1]: Can we describe the games briefly ?

The evening started with a singing performance by Anuj Sharma. He sang Bollywood melodies of the
old times. Commented [MTK2]: How old? Can we change this to bring out
the feeling it evoked? Like nostalgia and romanticism.
The next in line was an energetic western dance performance by the ladies of MBPS team (Seema
Rajput, Neha goyal, Chanchal Mehra, Neha & Varnita). They enthralled the audience with their
performance on a medley of peppy Bollywood numbers

It was followed by a skit presented by the MBPS Team (Anshul Tantia, Sushil Negi, Ajay Kumar
Choubey, Balvinder, Ankush Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Amit Jain, Varnita Raj & Vivek Prajapati). The
skit was about a Babaji……?
Next up was a couple of Punjabi Song by Maninder, unplugged. It was enchanting even without
music.:

And a classical dance Kathak recital by Aanchal Agarwal performed on a Bollywood number
enthralled the audience...:
Another Skit was presented by the MBPS Team (Nitesh Rustogi, Nitesh Aggarwal, Chanchal Mehra,
Neha Goyal, Neha, Saurabh Digga) The skit was titled Office Office and portrayed scences…….??

Further a beautiful song “Teri Deewani” sung by Varnita Raj who claims to be a die hard fan of
Kailash Kher:
A Skit enacted on the famous Bollywood movie-Sholey by Naveen Nain & Vinod Gupta: This time
though a new charact enters the scene “Phoopha” which made people laugh a lot.
And last but not the least, Anuj Sharma delighted us with his melodious voice again:

After all the performances, the participants received gifts for showcasing their talents:

At the end, the dance floor was open to all the employees for dancing and grooving.
After a sumptuous dinner, Finally the event came to an end, leaving behind sweet memories that
will be cherished for long.
