Dear Nachwuchswissenschaftler-Kolloquium,
I’m writing this letter to state my motivation to attend the
“Nachwuchswissenschaftler-Kolloquium” from 6 to 8 in Postdam. I am a PhD
student at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany.
My interest is mine planning. I have been working to develop a strategic mine
planning model for cement quarries for 3 years. My research provides an
optimized and dynamic tool for quarry planners to create effective extraction
schedules in order to meet the requirements in cement manufacturing. The
research benefits the sustainable development of cement industry by contributing
the resource savings and economic added values.
Like many sectors, the mining sector is also undergoing change due to the
industrial revolution 4.0 with the emphasis of IT making the chance to improve
and optimize the mining operations. Therefore, your conference theme is
especially relevant to my research. I hope my presentations will be useful to the
audiences for their practice.
I would high appreciate to be given an opportunity to present my research in
front of scholars. I look forward to your positive response.
