Project Proposal Speech: Your Topic: Mentorship with a chemical engineer and my final project

Your presentation MUST include a Powerpoint/Prezi, etc.

In the space below, plan out your Final Presentation speech. Give an explanation of what you plan to do for
your project. Your mid-term presentation will be no more than 3 minutes and you will be marked off 1 point
past the time limit. This is your opportunity to explain how your project will improve your field of study or
offer something new to the discussion.

1) ____HOOK: Begin with some kind of
attention-getter.
Chemical engineering is one of the broadest
professions with a variety of industries to choose
from.
2) ____INTRODUCTION/INTERNSHIP:
Introduce yourself, give details about your
internship, your mentor, where you work, and
what you do. Include at least one picture with
your mentor.
My name is Esha Hafeez. I intern at ChemQuest
Chemicals under the lead chemical engineer, Mr.
Joe Parker. My duties include observing my
mentor and inputting data into spreadsheets.
3) ____PART 1: What is your project/product?
Explain your project in detail, including the real This mentorship and project will help me gain
world application.

I chose this project because it is quite unique and
will help me learn new concepts of chemical
engineering. It is also very useful because it will
help gain a greater amount of oil, even from small
areas.

experience has helped you for the future.
Steps I will take to accomplish the project:
observe the mentor, do calculations and research
with mentor, and create microemulsion in the lab.
experience in the product development side of
chemical engineering, which will help me decide
become a chemical engineer.
