SUMMARY
Tony Jordan and Elizabeth Jordan had it all. Jordan a top sales representative in a
pharmaceutical company on the other hand Elizabeth a real estate agent. They had a dream
house and a daughter named, Danielle Jordan. The thing is, their marriage is a mess.
Whenver they’re together, the always fight. They fight about Elizabeth’s sister because
Elizabeth’s gives money to her sister from their joint bank account. Jordan doesn’t like the
idea of her wife giving money to her sister because it his decision to handle their money.

We see that Jordan is a top sales rep and also a well respected man. On his way to a
meeting, there’s a girl who approached him whose name is Veronica Drake. Veronica gave
his number to him and he accepts it and smiled.

Liz or Elizabeth is a real state agent. She went to Mrs. Clara’s house to check it before she
recommends someone to buy it. As they were talking , Clara told Elizabeth that she was
married to his husband for 14 years before he died and she have a son. She ask Elizabeth if
she goes to church and if she believed God. Elizabeth felt uncomfortable because Clara was
asking personla things to her. But Clara just said that “ that she’s been there” she means
that she’s been to Elizabeth’s place before. She means whatever trials in her life . She’ve
been through that.

Meanwhile, Tony calls Veronica that he’ll be out of town and asks her out for dinner.

Clara asks Elizabeth if she meet with her one hour a week. So that she wouldn’t be stepping
on the same land mines. Clara told her that her husband isn’t enemy but it its the devil itself
that surrounds in their house. Clara shows Elizabeth her closet but she calls it the “ war
room”. Elizabeth saw that paper that was on the wall and the answered prayers too.

Liz decided to went to her closet and write prayers and put it on the wall. She prayed
aboput her marriage and their family.

As she was posting her prayers , she received a text from a friend that she saw Tony with
some girl at a restaurant eating dinner.

Liz cried, then she sits down and prayed genuinelt to God. To stop what he’s husband is
doing.
Tony was eating with Veronica. They’ve talked and talked as if he forgets that he’s married.
Veronica ask Tony is he wants to go somewhere else. But for some odd reason, Tony felt
like he wants to go to the comfort room . Maybe he realized what he’s doing is wrong.

Elizabeth continued to pray to God. As he’s husband went home, he said that he was tired
for his job. Elizabeth only told him that everything would be alright. Just trust in God.

As Jordan searches for his gym bag. He wants to go to gym to because he want to work out
to forget his problems. He went to the closet . He saw the prayers that was on the wall. He
went to the desk and saw her wife’s phone and opened it. He saw the text message that says
that he was with some other girl.
Jordan cries and ask forgiveness to the Lord for everything he’ve done. He asks forgiveness
to his wife and admitted that he almost cheated on her. He also apologized to her daughter
that he hadn’t been a good father to her. He wants to be a better person. For making up for
his daughter he joins the double dutch competition.

At the double dutch competition, Tony competes with his daughters team. They are
amazing. Danielle's team wins second place. However, Tony tells Danielle that it wasnt
about winning, it was about him being involved and being there for his daughter.

They go home as a family. Liz shows Claras house to a retired preacher who says he can tell
someone has been praying in that closet; thats how strong she prayed. They buy the house.

Liz and Tony are at home, He tells her he got a job as head of the community center, its half
the pay, but theyll make it if they’re wise. She says shes so wise the ladies skipped dessert.
He says good, he has something for her.

She sits on the couch, and he brings a bucket of water to her. He tells her to put her feet in
and relax then brings her her ice cream sundae just the way she described earlier.

Liz tells him please, dont touch her stinky feet. He says shes his wife, and he has this
covered. Then he pulls out a surgical mask, and they laugh. She starts to cry and says her
husband brought her her favorite dessert and is rubbing her feet, there MUST be a God in
heaven.
REACTION PAPER
The movie was great for me. It has some moral lessons in life. It teaches us that whatever
battles we encounter in life the only weapon is prayer. Because God is always their for us,
you just need to ask to him. It shows us that being married isn’t easy at all.

It shows the struggles they encountered like misunderstanding and temptation.

In the movie where Liz received a mesage from a friend that her husband was seen to be
with a woman. For me, being in Elizabeth’s place. I would confront Jordan about his wrong
doings. But in the movie, She just let God handle it . She’s a really strong woman I must say.

Even though their marriage has ups and downs. She didn’t give up. She prays to God to
make it all better. Whatever you’re facing, always remember that God has it all planned.
That the problems in our life are just to make us become a better person.

The message of the moved really moved me. I want someone in my life who won’t give up
on me. Even if I’m at my worst and would pray for me. I really enjoyed the movie it shows
us to never go to a battle unprepared or alone. You must have a weapon and that is prayer.
