TERM PROJECT

1. Individual Assignment A: Job Analysis.

• Conduct a job analysis on a job of your choice.
• This project includes:
• (1) an observation of a job and interviewing at least two Employees, Managers
or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• (2) prepare job descriptions and,
• (3) prepare job specifications

You should turn in a job analysis report.

Specific Information You Need to Have in Your Report:

Executive Summary
Description of Methods and Process
Data collected (Pictures, videos…)
Finalized Job Descriptions
Finalized Job Spesifications
Short personal critique on the project and process (i.e., what went well, what didn’t ,
what would you do differently next time)

2. Individual Assignment B: Recruitment Ad

Draft a job opening ad for the same job in which you conducted a job analysis for
Assignment A.

Make sure to include the relevant job and organizational elements, as well as other
components that may facilitate job recruitment.

This ad should have no more than 250 words.

You may also include whatever info you believe may help you recruit best, but make
sure not to exceed 250 words.

Important Notice

Turn your Assignment A and Assignment B (Job Analysis and Recruitment Ad) in two
separate reports tree weeks before final exam.

You will make a 15 min. presentation of your assignments in class personally, within last
3 weeks of class, before final exam.
