Course Objectives:
 To understand the concept of Legal Literacy;
 To deliver legal literacy to economic weaker sections of the society;
 To analyze various aspects of legal literacy with regard to particular part of society.
Pre-requisites: Knowledge of basic legal provisions.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Till the end of this course students will be able to:


 Aware of the importance of Legal Literacy.
 Illustrate the actual use of Legal Literacy.
 Provide legal literacy to various sections of Society.

 Judicial System in India (Courts, Tribunals etc.)

 Right to Education
 Right of Consumers
 Right to Information
 Right To Literacy

Pedagogy for Course Delivery:


The course will be delivered through class room teaching and other different methods including literacy camps, discussion on case studies,
court orders, judgments etc.
