 It’s so easy!!

1 Choose a location.
Preferably a coffee shop or restaurant. Somewhere in
your community that’s comfortable for women from all
different churches/backgrounds. But, don’t rule out your
home if you are a smaller group! Kitchen tables can be a great place
for girlfriend time!

2 Set a date and time.

Meet as often as you like. Most groups meet once a month
or once every other month.

 FAQ’s
Praise and Coffee Nights are free events. We don’t ever want women unable to attend due to finances.
We realize there could be costs incurred for the leader, so you can take an offering if you like.
However, we do not have a tax exempt 501c status, so you would not be able to offer receipts for taxes.
With that said, we’ve found that the Lord always provides for all our needs!

Q What if I can’t find a coffee shop or restaurant to host my Praise and Coffee Night?

A Don’t underestimate the power of your own kitchen table!

Just start out by meeting at your kitchen table with a few girlfriends...and I encourage you to reach
out beyond your own church family of girlfriends...see what happens!

QHow do I invite women from other churches in my community?

A Send them a note or call them. Say something like this:

FOR EXAMPLE:
To the Director of Women’s Ministry,
Hello, my name is _____________________
I want to invite you and the women of your church to come and join us for a: Praise and Coffee Night Out!
These evenings originated in Michigan and have been spreading across the nation and I want to bring this ministry to our
community. The website that started these evenings is www.PraiseAndCoffee.com.
These groups focus on fellowship and encouragement for women of all different backgrounds, churches, ages and stag-
es. Getting together outside the four walls of the church...rubbing elbows, hugging necks, telling our stories, laughing and
crying while sharing the love of Jesus with each other.
These evenings are not intended to replace the Women’s groups or Bible studies in your churches, but rather to compli-
ment them. They are not affiliated with any church or denomination. These are Christian meetings and we encourage
women to invite friends that might benefit from fellowshipping with other Christian women. Think of it as an incredible
evangelistic opportunity at the same time it’s an awesome night for women to meet other Christian women to encour-
age and be encouraged.
The first Praise and Coffee Night Out in our area will be: (Insert date and Time)
There is no cost to attend, but there will be coffee and refreshments available for purchase (if at coffee shop).
The focus of the evening is fellowship, so feel free to bring your ladies for a relaxing and fun night together. There will also
be a short time of encouragement including …(whetever your group will be doing).

Q
What should we do at these events?

Much of that depends on the size of your group. If you have a TALL or GRANDE
group (up to 15 gals) I would encourage you (or someone in your group) to prepare
something inspirational/encouraging to share with the ladies and then go around the
group and ask what is happening in their lives. What are they praising God for? Ask
them to share a time when they’ve sensed God moving in their life recently.
We are also working on some videos that you could show so all you’d have to do is turn on the com-
puter and you have a Praise and Coffee Night speaker!

If you have a VENTI group (15+ gals), you might want a little more structured of a group. Possibly a
guest speaker, but certainly not required. Make it your own!!!
Here is a suggestion of how your VENTI evening could be, these are all *optional*:
7:00 Arrive, coffee/refreshments and chat! ~I have praise music playing in the background.
7:45 Welcome and Giveaways ~chocolate, small coffee samples, mugs, etc.
7:50 Praise and Worship ~I usually do 3 songs with live worship or a DVD, Hillsongs have
some great videos and the words show right on the screen when it’s playing.

8:00 Speaker ~I speak or a guest speaker shares some encouragement with the ladies.
OR
Have someone in your community share women’s interest.
Ideas:
*Interior decorator friend sharing the latest
trends in colors and decorating
*special testimony
*local nursery owner sharing ideas for gardening
*local retail shop sharing fashion ideas

8:30-9:00 Small Groups ~break into smaller groups giving them topics/questions for conversation.

name “Praise and Coffee Nights” even if they are not posted publically.

If you hold your group in your home, we will post them with your City and State and an email contact. We will not give out your
private address.

 Promoting Your Event
If you want to get the word out!
A great way to promote your event is Facebook. If you are not on Face-
book, that is fine, just ignore this part.

Fill out the “Announcing your Praise and Coffee Night” page of these in-
structions and I will get your event posted at our fan page at:
www.facebook.com/praiseandcoffee

After that I will send you an invite to the event and you can invite all your FB friends right
there from the event. Click on “Invite friends” under the picture at the top right. It is a great,
non-confrontational way to invite girlfriends and ladies in your community.

Other Ideas (*optional, not required*)

 For the first event, I suggest sending letters to local churches c/o Women’s Ministry ex-
plaining what we were doing. (Example on page 3)

 Print up signs to place around town at coffee shops, churches, local stores, libraries, etc.

 Contact anyone you know in newspaper or media to get the word out.

Send an invite to the “Religion or Family” editor of your newspaper.

 To access the logos, go to www.photobucket.com (user name is: pandcleader and pass-
word is: praisehim). Or grab them off our websites.

 If you’re a blogger, talk about it on your blog.

 If you use Twitter, use #pacnights and “tweet” about it.

 VistaPrint I use VistaPrint.com to have postcards made and I send them to friends and lo-
cal churches. I always have a sign-in sheet at each Praise and Coffee event so I can add
them to my mailing list. The “postcard” picture on our photobucket page fits perfectly on
the postcards, right click on it and “save picture as” on your computer then upload it on
Vistaprint and fill in the back side of your postcards.
