THE WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT OF THE

ROAD TOWARDS RUCAPEQUEN WERE

INITIATED

Complying with what

was planned, last week
the repair works of the
road to Rucapequén
began. The
commitment was
acquired by the seremi
of Public Works, Rene
Carvajal, after the
request of the mayor of Chillan Viejo, Felipe Aylwin.

Both authorities had made, in August of last year, a visit to

the road, to properly maintain the route and improve the
areas in which it was damaged the community chief had the
opportunity to request this from the Seremi.

The construction of new asphalt folder in required sections,

clearing of the road, widening in some areas, is contemplated
for the construction of the works. In addition, the
improvement of the signs at the intersection linking access to
Rucapequén from route 5 with the road to the Nebuco sector,
is contemplated by the maintenance work.
