Assalamu alaikum Moataz.

We are so pleased to welcome you and your family to our An-Nur

Child Education and Care centre. You just joined with us a few days earlier as your family just
moved to New Zealand recently. We understand that it is a big step for a child to settle into a
totally new environment with all the strangers, even harder when you don’t know the language
most of the people are speaking here. But it didn’t take you long to realise that this strangers
are really caring people and that this is an interesting place – so much to explore, so much to
learn!
InshaAllah we will make sure you feel safe, comfortable and happy. I am looking forward to
know you better and have many happy memories and exciting learning adventures together
with you. We are hoping you will have a pleasant and worthwhile learning experience with us
inshaAllah.

Moataz, In our An-Nur childcare centre there are so many opportunities for you to enhance
your learning. We will assist you to further develop your skills and knowledge through
providing support and encouragement throughout all areas of our programme inshaAllah.
Te Whariki Goal: “Children experience an environment where they are kept safe from

“They know the limits and boundaries of acceptable behaviour” (Belonging).
“Children will experience an environment where they are encouraged to learn with and
alongside others,” ( Contribution).
