AUGUST 1 PLAN

JOB DESCRIPTION: Planning and implementing preparedness of students about the use of
English every year before the start of the school.
FACILITATOR: Jorge Pawee A. Duran in coordination with Ms.
TIME DURATION: 4 hours
OBJECTIVE: Introduce the incoming first year students to a fun and friendly English learning
environment.
MATERIALS NEEDED:

 scissors (1)
 ruler (1)
 Scarf/handkerchief that is large enough to tie for blindfold. 1 for every student
 Mask-1 for every student
 candies & chocolates – small ones, 160 pieces
 masking tape

ACTIVITY 1: ANIMAL SOUNDS

The students will be asked the sounds of different animals, namely-dogs, cats, bee, and snakes.
They will draw a paper with the name of an animal printed on it. They will put their blindfolds
on after reading their animal.
They need to create the sound and find their groups.
First group to complete 20 members is the winner.

ACTIVITY 2: NAME MEMORY GAME.
