JULIA ROBERTS

 Julia and her family.

Julia Roberts was born in Smyrna, Georgia, on October 28, 1967. Her real name is
Julia Fiona Roberts. Her mother was named Betty Lou Bredemus and her father was
named Walter Grady Roberts, Walter died of cancer when Julia Roberts was 10
years old. Julia has one brother, Eric Roberts and one sister, Lisa Roberts. Julia had
a sister on the part of his mother too. Her name was Nancy.

 Her studies.
Julia studied in Smyrna. She always want be veterinarian, but she studied journalism.
On 1985 she abandoned her desire to study veterinary medicine and moved with
Lisa to new York to attend interpretation classes, where she also worked as a model.
She went to New York in order to get a job.

 Her actress career.

She began his career as an actress in 1987 with a small role in Firehouse.

She had a new opportunity in 1989, her brother Eric, spoke with Peter Masterson to
give her a role in the drama Blood Red (1989), which she didn´t triumph.

She acted in Steel Magnolias, a film that was her first Golden Globe for Best actress
and her first candidacy for the Oscar in the category of Best actress.
