Approach for Collecting Requirements for
Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project
We will start by having a simple brainstorming with the whole project team and some
health experts to get ideas what the project may require. After all the ideas are
generated, the team will rank those they suppose are the simplest for this answer. The
ensuing accord of best ideas are going to be used for the initial necessities. After
brainstorming we will hand out questionnaires to employees to get their opinion on
what they would like and want. After getting the questionnaires back, we will extract
the data and analyze it so we can prioritize the initial requirements.

Project Title: Recreation and Wellness Intranet

Project Justification: MYH recently updated its strategic plan, and key goals which
include reducing internal costs. This project can facilitate improve worker health at
intervals one year of its rollout so you'll be able to talk terms lower insurance premiums.
The allow the project is $200,000. An additional $150,000 per year will be required for
operational expenses after the project has been completed It is important to focus on
the system paying for itself within one year of its completion.
Product Characteristics and Requirements:
1. Permit workers to register for company-sponsored recreational programs, like
association football, softball, bowling, and jogging, walking, and different sports.
2. permit workers to register for company-sponsored categories and programs to assist
them manage their weight, scale back stress, stop smoking, and manage different
health-related problems
3. Track information on worker involvement in these recreational and health-
management programs.
4. Supply incentives for individuals to hitch the programs and had best in them (e.g.
Incentives for achieving weight goals, winning sports team competitions, etc.).
5. The application should always be available on the intranet and users and it must be
accessible using a standard internet browser.

Project Objectives:
To develop a user-friendly Intranet Website in 6 months to allow employee registration
for company sponsored events and classes.
Product-related deliverables: research reports, design documents, software code,
hardware, etc.

input from all employees to make sure it is user friendly

The goal is to complete the project within six months for no more than $200,000. The project
must pay for itself within one year. To meet this financial goal, employees must participate in
this program to fully gain the benefits of this project.

It is always good to verify projects. Project scope verification is crucial. To verify comes
four inputs to the project are necessary. These inputs are deliverables, WBS lexicon,
Project Scope Management set up and Project Scope Statement. Deliverables is crucial
inputs in comes. They’re wont to compare the project scope statement and to confirm
that the comets are correct and true. WBS lexicon provides definitions for deliverables
and for each element utilized in the project. Project scope statement describes the scope
of the project and enclosed within the scope of the project are major deliverables.

One of the main keys within the project method is to possess members participate.
Techniques and tools which will be wont to verify project scope embody sign language of
documentation of acceptance, reviewing of current work results and deliverables,
measuring, examining and testing of the comes.

A scope that's consummated on paper could be a complete project. For the comes to be
verified the deliverables must be accepted, and also the corrective actions must be
counseled.

Changing Control

The main lessons we learned is the sponsor may be changing some requirement about
the system. The sponsor would also please the problem of over cost if the whole system
were satisfied what their needed. The communication between manager and sponsor is
important to keep the project running smoothly. We were gone right in understanding
the sponsor requirement to the project output. The system we design were according to
the research we done in early. This aspect were make the sponsor please with the over
cost problem
