become increasingly popular due to their ease of use, extensive choices, and
time-saving benefits for busy individuals and families.

Project Goal

● The goal is to develop an application program to simplify managing the food consumer
item category.

Deliverables

To deliver 95% of orders on time within a month of launch requires considering

several key factors:

customer information.

● Customer Support: Provide an effective customer support system to resolve any

issues customers may encounter while using the application.
● Train employees on how to use the software

● Employee training: Employees need to be trained on how to use the application

and how to resolve problems that may arise.

● Testing and quality control: Before handing over, conduct quality tests to ensure
that the application works as expected and without any errors.

Business Case / Background

Why are we doing this?:

● Giving your customers multiple options is always a good idea. With today’s digital
landscape, customers expect restaurants to offer online ordering because it’s incredibly
convenient — and it’s a sign your business is keeping up with trends.
● Online ordering can also help you prepare orders more quickly and accurately, because
customers can easily make their own selections rather than communicating them to
someone over the phone.

Measuring Success

What is acceptable:
1. Deliver 95% of orders on time within one month of launch.
2. Train 90% of employees before the official service launch.
3. Food Quality: The food ordered online should meet the expected standards of taste,
freshness, and overall quality.

Risks

1. Security Vulnerabilities: Developing a food ordering system involves handling sensitive

customer data, including personal information and payment details.
2. Payment Processing Risks: Integrating payment gateways into the system introduces risks
related to transaction security, fraud prevention, and compliance with industry standards,
such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements.
3. Performance and Scalability Challenges: As the system grows in popularity and the
customer base expands, it needs to handle increased traffic and user load.
4. Maintenance and Updates: Once the food ordering system is deployed,
ongoing maintenance and updates are necessary to address bugs, security
vulnerabilities, and feature enhancements.
