1 Check for material in accordance to Project Specification, verify quality and
condition.
2 Verify correct type/size nut/bolt/washer are provided on each joints.

3 Check cable ladder - tray supports are installed in accordance with design
requirements.
4 Check ladder - tray materials are as per the approved drawings.
5 Check ladder - tray do not present a hazard to personnel, block access ways or
prevent removal of equipment.
6 Check that cut edges are de-burred and smooth.
7 Check Identification is correct and in place.
8 Check no nuts or bolts missing.
9 Check trays are bonded/earthed as required.
10 Check bending radius, installation of bends, change of direction and supports
are as per drawings.
11 Verify adequate supports provided for cable tray system as per actual site
conditions.
12 Confirm all fasteners are tightened properly.
13 Check correct size of ladder - tray installed as per approved drawings.
14 Check all tray/ladder covers installed upon completion of cable laying.
15 Check tray/ladder ends have appropriate rubber covers installed.
