How to Find/Set my IP address

All Okidata printers are DHCP by default. This means that they will automatically obtain
an IP address if the router they are connected to has DHCP enabled. Once the printer is
turned on and the network cable connected, the printer should obtain an IP address
from the router. At that point you can print out a Menu Map/Configuration/Function
page. The names of these printouts vary depending on the model of printer being used.
On the menu printout you will see a network category and the IP address should be
displayed.

If you want to SET your IP address within your driver on a windows system, you need to
create a standard TCP/IP port in the driver. You will use the IP address from your
printout. To do this you need to right click on your printer icon in your printers folder
and click on printer properties:
Click on the “ports” tab and click on Add Port….

Double click on Standard TCP/IP port:

Follow through prompts and type in your IP address:

Finish the wizard and apply the settings. You should now be able to print to your
machine over the network.
