7 P’S OF MARKETING MIX

The basic Four P's of Marketing:-

Product.
This is the most important thing in the mix, the physical product or the service that the entity
is offering for sale to the public. You will need to market this to the customers by telling
them the unique features and benefits the product has to offer.

Price.
This is the price or amount that the customer needs to giveaway in exchange of the product or
service you are offering. Marketing strategy will need to ensure that people will get the
perceived value as greater than the price they will need to giveaway.

Place.
Placement or distribution, you will need to spell out where the product or service is available.
This may either be online or offline, you will need to inform the public where the products
may be available.

Promotion.
You will need to promote the product or service whether online of offline. Online marketing
makes it cheaper to conduct promotions and reach as many people as possible.
The next three P's:-

People.
In order for any marketing activity to be effective, to will need to train and motivate the
people to do their job. The people that delivers the product or service and those that come in
between the customer and the manufacturer needs to know their job for the strategy to work.
People may also refer to the customers who will need to buy your products, they are very
important to be considered in the development of your marketing strategy.

Process.
Customer satisfaction is one of the most important roles of marketing. If you can follow the
process of delivering high quality service or products to the customers, your marketing efforts
will never be wasted.

Physical evidence.
Online, it is difficult for the customer to know how the product is going to benefit them.
Thus, you will need to create an element by which the customer will be able to feel, taste and
smell the product or experience the service. You can do reports and articles that will excite
the customers about the product and the service.

.INTRODUCTION.

In 1993 Belleza Salon was opened in Knoxville, TN. The Salon was so well
received that only 2 years later the facility was expanded to twice the original
size. What once was Belleza Salon now became Belleza Salon and Spa. Only
four short years after the second expansion, they once again outgrew their
facility and began looking for a new and larger location. Regina and Marwan
searched for a building that they could call their own and create the image they
had always desired for the future Belleza Salon and Spa. In 2000 Belleza Salon
and Spa relocated to their new facility, the result of over two years of planning
and a lifetime of hard work. The 5,500 square foot building, originally
constructed in 1954, is a full service Salon and Spa including corporate offices,
a full service hair salon, and a full service day spa with complete beauty and
body care education, consultation and treatment.

"Bellezza " means beauty. The company aims at working constantly to give
their valued customers the best services. In keeping with the competitive
environment in mind, they are offering many attractive pocket friendly
Package's & introductory schemes for its customers Men, Women and Children
alike.

PRODUCT.
Belleza Salon and Spa offers a variety of high quality products for hair, skin and body. In
2003 we will be launching our own private label hair care line and reintroducing our own
blend of lotions, salt scrubs and massage oils.

It provides many services to its customers such as the:

 BRIDAL PACAKGES

They feature Graham Webb hair care products from England and a variety of top selling hair
products. They also feature Framesi hair color from Itlay and have the distinction of being the
original Knoxville area salon selected by Framesi as a Framesi Elite Moda Capelli Salon.

PRICE.
The prices charged by BELLEZA differ as per different regions.Not only this but they offer
various variety and choices to their customer in terms of prices. As they four different
categories as:

 THE STYLIST
 SENIOR STYLIST
 CREATIVE DIRECTOR
 EDUCATOR

The prices vary by taking up the services from any of the four mentioned above ranging the
highest from the educator and the least charged price is by the stylist.

BELLEZA SALON AND SPA uses several tools and techniques of promotion like:

1. Video Sharing Sites

Creating your own commercials that are uploaded to video sharing sites on the Internet, or to
your own website, is an effective way to show your salon skills to your potential customers.

2. Contests

Developing a contest with giveaways helps to draw customers to your business. A contest
may be built around a number of ideas. For example, you may offer a series of haircuts to an
individual or an entire family. You may offer other prizes to winners, such as free hair
products or even a free color treatment or other service.

3. We offer the perfect pampering gift to rejuvenate, refress, and renew any time of the
year.

PEOPLE.

FOR EMPLOYEE:
Belleza Salon and Spa offers an apprentice program to hair stylists that have completed their
initial training and received their license.
Classes take place each monday and cover all aspects of the hair industry, from consultation
to color, and are taught by a senior staff member/educator. The program is designed to
promote continued education to a beginner hairstylist.

Belleza Salon and Spa also invites other educational professionals to share their experiences
and talents. These sessions usually take place on a quarterly basis.

FOR CUSTOMERS:
Belleza Salon and Spa offers personal consultations in hair cutting and hair color at no
charge. Communication is important and we will listen carefully before giving you individual
recommendations. Appointments are recommended but not required. 24 hours notice is
appreciated if you plan to cancel.

PROCESS.

FOR SPA:
BELLEZA has searched to bring our clients the most luxurious treatments from around the
world. Our signature treatment is The Ultimate Body Treatment. This exceptional one of a
kind service offers clients the unique experience of being pampered by two separate staff
members, a massage therapist and an esthetician. First, the massage therapist begins by
massaging a soft citrus peel gel into the skin, for exfoliation, that whisks away dead skin cells
leaving the skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The massage therapist continues by
massaging the client's arms, legs, hands and feet to relieve stress and tension trapped within
the body. After the first thirty minutes the esthetician joins the massage therapist as they work
in harmony to give the client a fully customized European Facial. The client leaves feeling
rejuvenated and pampered from head to toe.

FOR SALON:
There is no proper or standardized process followed by them as there is customer
involvement into them which helps them work differently at different stages each time.

and health packages. The 5th Element, an authentic Thai spa and health care center is named
so after the other four natural elements — air, water, fire and earth and the fifth element is the
feeling that you experience after a complete treatment in the spa. The decor exudes the same
lightness and leaves a pure mark deep inside your heart.

Its been a very short journey since July 2007 and the Fifth Element Spa has already opened
its third branch(2 in Bangalore and 1 in Hyderabad). The secret of the fast expansion is the

reflect the high standards expected by our guests. Your role and responsibilities include
carrying out a range of face and body treatments, maintaining the highest standards of
hygiene and cleanliness, achieving set targets in treatment.

PROCESS.
Unlike BELLEZA, THE 5TH ELEMENT doesn’t follow a standardized pattern of conducting
their activities its as per the needs and requirements of the customers.

PHYSICAL EVIDENCE.
The 5th element spa has got a superb ambience the speciality of this spa is the treatment
done by the therapist is excellent your more relaxed and after the massage we feel really fresh
and good. The ambience is soothing with water bodies and flowers.Element Day Spa &
Boutique is organized around the five elements: earth, fire, water, metal, and wood. By
bringing all five into balance, this spa hopes to promote health and well-being.
