ASSIGNMENT: Assignment B

With respect to energy efficiency of ship, submit a report covering use of renewable energy on merchant
ships. The report should include extent of use at present, future prospect, suitability to types of ships
taking into account the life cycle assessment.

TOPIC LENGTH: Main body of the paper, excluding tables, figures and references should be approximately
1200 words.
