Though looking at multiple summer internships, I came across VS PINK Marketing Intern
position and could not resist applying. As a woman pursuing a business degree, Victoria Secret
PINK is a work environment that I would be proud to be a part of.

I am getting my concentration in Marketing and Financial Management, and strongly believe that
I would be the best fit for this position. I strive to learn and grow everyday as a student, worker
and in all aspects of my life. As a sophomore I have gained the privilege thus far of having
experience in retail as a sales associate, an internship as a marketing consultant, and I am now
currently the Marketing Director for our ASUNM agency named Lobo Spirit. I am also a current
VS PINK Campus Representative. Given all these positions I’ve learned how to manage a team,
lead a group of individuals, effectively communicate, market across multiple platforms, and how
to think creatively and plan accordingly.

An example of obtaining effective marketing and communication strategies is when our staff at
Lobo Spirit helped sell out our basketball arena named “The Pit” for the first time since 2013.
We had a crowd of over 15,000 attend. I helped execute this by creating marketing collateral
and using social media to advertise the game. While also building strong connections on
campus with students and having weekly meetings with our staff and volunteers.
