1. Lead Business Development Activities by developing a Marketing and Sales Strategy
which should cover the following.
a. Study of the MENA Market for
i. Major market players, their offerings, outreach and market share ii. Market socio-economic conditions iii. Major learning trends iv. Major regional business opportunities both in the government and corporate sector. v. Quality of trainers and programs on offer vi. What is the niche we can carve for ourselves? vii. What should be our service offerings?
2. Develop an annual public course calendar in the light of the above.
3. Get himself and the team acquainted with the course outlines 4. Train the team on Basic Selling Techniques, Consultative Selling and Negotiation Skills. 5. Assign specific roles and responsibilities to the team and develop metrics on which they would be assessed periodically. Encourage the team to visit and meet a specified number of Human Resource Heads of organizations and submit visit reports with all the details. 6. Have an in-depth detailed daily meeting with the team about the active marketing opportunities, businesses in pipeline, business deals finalized. 7. Lead from front by becoming a role model for the team by bringing in high profile business 8. Have a weekly meeting in person or through Skype with the CEO and monthly meeting with the President and CEO about the current status of business 9. Attend all major human resource and learning summits, conferences, forums and make our presence felt through putting up a stall, making presentations and networking with the key personnel. 10. Engage the backend team based in Pakistan for writing blogs, articles, web hosting, social media marketing etc. and get their support for the business development activities.
